Avatier Packs Major Changes Into Risk Management and User-Centric Solutions at 2014 Gartner IT Symposium

Company's upgraded platform and directory driven SSO featured in Booth #547

San Ramon, CA — October 6, 2014 — Avatier Corp., a leader in risk-driven identity management software, has combined user-centric solutions with intense internal and external security risk mitigation in the new version of its popular AIMS platform and new directory driven SSO solution at the Gartner Symposium ITxpo 2014 in Orlando, October 5th through the 9th. Both AIMS and Avatier SSO are designed for ease of use by business executives while providing maximum risk mitigation for identity and access management solutions inside the enterprise and in the Cloud. The company will be exhibiting at booth #547 in the Atlantic Hall of the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.

"We delivered user-centric IAM solutions well before they were identified as mainstream," commented Nelson Cicchitto, CEO and Chairman. "Our products are the most intuitive, and easy to use in the industry. While the industry is moving to an emphasis on business users, insider and external threats are exploding throughout every vertical market on the planet. We made the decision sometime ago that risk mitigation must be the heart and intelligence of all our products."

The AIMS 9.5 now assigns risk values to systems, access privileges and business user accounts to give a holistic view of an identity's enterprise risk. The aggregated risk score shows a user's overall risk tailored to the corporation's environment, and includes built-in risk radar to assist with real time risk-based decision-making during access and service requests and corresponding approval processes.

"We have developed the only identity governance and administration system that provides automated aggregate risk scoring," Cicchitto adds. "With this new AIMS upgrade, companies can now integrate risk management completely into their Identity Management processes."

Avatier executives will also be showing their new single sign-on (SSO) solution with SMS and multifactor authentication capabilities. The company now combines SSO, password management and identity management and governance together for one unified identity governance and administration (IGA) solution. "Our vision is to unify SSO into one complete IGA solution. That is a huge security step beyond anything that exists today," Cicchitto explains. "We want you to leverage your enterprise directory for SSO, not copy it in the cloud. That's wasting time, money, and ridden with risks."

"This is also an important addition to our new partnerships with companies like LANDESK," Cicchitto added. "We will be leveraging their reach to increase our ability to execute in new markets around the globe."

The Avatier SSO approach has significant corporate compliance; an extreme level of risk assessment; extraordinary IT control; exceptional business user experience and ease of use. "We definitely pack a lot of game changing features into this product," Cicchitto concludes.
