Compass Report Recognizes Company as Leader in Three Matrices
SAN RAMON, Calif.—May 8, 2014 — Avatier Corp. has been named a Technology Leader in KuppingerCole's Leadership Compass Identity Provisioning Report's Product Innovation Matrix and among the "Big Ones" in the Innovation/Market Matrix.
In the Report the analyst firm compares the position of vendors regarding combinations of major areas of analysis such as market leadership; product leadership and innovation leadership. According to the Report, vendors with a "strong position" in both the report's Product Leadership and Market Leadership categories have an "overall strong to excellent position in the market."
In the Product/Innovation Matrix, KuppingerCole shows a correlation between Product Leadership and Innovation Leadership. Technology Leaders like Avatier were considered to have technologies that show "good to excellent innovation while providing strong product capabilities."
The Innovation/Market Matrix, shows vendors who have the biggest potential for improving their market position based on their ability to innovate. The "Big Ones", as the report categorizes vendors in the upper right hand quadrant, were described as "market leading vendors with a good to strong position in the report's Innovation Leadership section.
The report cites Avatier for its "strong emphasis on moving usability to the next level." The KuppingerCole Report also notes Avatier among the top vendors performing well in the Access Governance Capabilities/ Product Matrix.
