 requirements 

TEM Server Requirements

  1. Windows NT 4.0/2000 BDC or PDC, but can run on member Server or Workstation that is part of either an Account Domain or Resource Domain.

  2. NT4/SP6 or higher.  W2K/SP2 or higher. Please refresh service pack level before installing.

  3. Express Install of TEM prefers to install on the NT system drive.

  4. Machine must NOT contain any partial SQL installation of any kind or any full SQL version below 7.0 SP2.

  5. ID(s) with Domain Administrator rights in all domains that are to be managed by TEM.

  6. 233 MHz Processor or Above.

  7. Suggested Minimum: 256 MB (Sites larger than 2,500 users should be 512 MB or higher).

  8. 500 MB Free Disk Space.

  9. Functioning TCP/IP stack, WINS, & DNS

  10. Optional: SQL 7.0/2000 Server, with latest service pack.

TEM Exchange Integration Requirements

  1. Exchange Server 5.5 with SP2 or Above (NOT FOR USE WITH EXCHANGE 2000 UNTIL VERSION 5 OF TEM).

  2. Must be logged in as TEM Robot Service Account during the installation of TEM.

  3. TEM Robot Service Account must have Domain Admin access and Exchange Permission Admin over all Sites that are to be managed with TEM.

  4. Write down the Exchange Organization “directory name”, Site “directory name(s)", and Recipient container "directory name(s)".  Exchange “display names” may be different, be sure to get the “directory name” by selecting the object and navigating to the File menu, Properties sub-menu in Exchange Admin.

TEM Client Requirements

  1. Any Microsoft Windows 95, 98, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 SP6 or Windows 2000 SP2 machine.

  2. Functioning TCP/IP stack, WINS, & DNS

  3. 5 MB of free disk space.
