CAUTION: Password Bouncer is only compatible with Trusted Enterprise Manager's create/copy
user function in versions TEM 4.0 and above.
Recommended Client/Host Configuration
- Live Internet connection to register the trial version of the product.
- Windows NT 4.0/2000/2003 BDC or PDC, but can run on a member server or workstation that is part of
either an Account Domain or Resource Domain.
- NT 4.0 SP4, 2000 SP1, or higher. Please refresh service pack level before installing.
- 233MHz or above.
- 96MB or above.
- 5MB or above of free disk space.
- A component gets installed on each PDC of all domains where
Password Bouncer enforces password policies. In 2000
the component gets installed on every DC.
- Admin$ share must be on every DC.
- Requires read/write access to System32 and the Registry of each DC.
- Automatically reboots NT 4.0 PDCs and requires one reboot of all BDCs.
- Automatically reboots Operations Master in 2000.
